Beautiful antique Princess Feather appliqué quilt featuring an eye-catching combination of rich teal blue, soft tan, and cream against a white cotton ground. Dating to c1900-1920, each elaborate feather motif features graceful, curved appliqué pieces radiating from a pale yellow center. The quilt displays exceptional hand quilting throughout.
The combination of bold color, intricate handwork, and traditional design makes this a wonderful example of early 20th-century American quiltmaking. A beautiful piece for display on an antique bed, draped over a quilt rack, or incorporated into a collection of early American textiles.

Good antique condition with expected wear consistent with age and use. The quilt exhibits scattered age spotting and light discoloration across the white cotton ground, along with some areas of more noticeable staining on the reverse. There are two small holes in the teal blue sashing, as photographed, and minor areas of fabric wear and discoloration. The hand quilting remains beautifully defined, and the quilt retains wonderful texture and visual appeal. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form part of the condition description.
A striking antique textile with wonderful color, craftsmanship, and character.
As with all antique textiles, this quilt is offered in found condition, with imperfections that reflect its history and age.
