Beautiful antique hand-pieced and hand-quilted quilt featuring a striking Honeycomb or Hexagon Flower pattern, closely related to Grandmother’s Flower Garden. Rich Turkey red and muted olive green hexagons form repeating floral medallions against a creamy white background, framed by bold red side borders.
Dating to c1880–1910, this quilt features wonderful, closely spaced diagonal hand quilting and lovely early cotton fabrics.
Good antique condition with age-related wear, including scattered light staining, minor discoloration, and a few small spots on the reverse. The red remains vibrant, and the quilt displays beautifully. Please review photographs for details.
