OUTSTANDING! This wonderful late 1800s Antique Sugar Firkin has its original red, blue and white paint. This firkin stands 9 3/4" tall and is 10" in diameter at the base. It has staved wood construction and is very sturdy. The handle is attached and in solid working condition. The red, blue and creamy white paint shows signs of wear, nicks and some staining on the interior consistent with age. The lid has two splits and show chipping around the band, but is very sturdy. Please see photos for condition. Overall, this is a charming early firkin with great color! A lovely piece to add to your stack!
