This caddy is OUTSTANDING. It dates to the late 1800s with original rosehead nail construction and its original nutmeg (putty grey) paint. This is a lovely early caddy has its original flat bottom and a tacked "rim" on all four sides. The scalloped handle is intricately hand hewn. This caddy measures 11 3/8" long by 9 1/8" deep and stands 5" tall to the top of the handle. The paint shows wear and loss throughout, consistent with age.
There are no cracks, chips or significant construction flaws. Please see photos for overall condition.
An OUSTANDING early caddy to add to your collection!
