So much to love in this wonderfully detailed quilt! Tiny postage stamp squares form repeating Trip Around the World blocks, combining cheerful florals, ginghams, plaids, and stripes in soft blues, pinks, teal, yellow, and rich red. Each block offers a different little collection of fabrics to admire. 💙
Beautifully hand quilted, with a cream backing and blue binding. The fabrics suggest a date of approximately 1930–1940.
The photos show a few small areas of fabric wear and fraying, along with gentle fading. Please review the close-ups for details.
Measures 64x76”
A lovely example of scrap quilting, filled with color, texture, and patient workmanship.
