This lovely quilt features an Orange Peel variation, with curved petal shapes and little checkerboard intersections creating a striking geometric design. Estimated to date to 1900–1930, it showcases detailed quilting, from crosshatched petals to flowing feather motifs and a quilted pink border.
Presents beautifully, with some visible signs of age: light discoloration on the backing and a small area of seam separation with loose threads, shown in the close-ups. Please review the photographs for condition details.
Size: 69x87”
A lovely piece to display on a quilt rack, fold over a cupboard door, or add to a collection of early textiles.
