The sweetest little pair! 🤎 Two stylized lovebirds nestle back-to-back, with beautifully patterned feathers in muted red, blue, and mustard. A red checkerboard border and tiny corner hearts complete this charming composition in the tradition of early Pennsylvania German folk art.
Likely a 20th-century piece inspired by earlier fraktur designs, although its exact date is unconfirmed. Presented under glass in a warm wooden frame, it would look lovely tucked into a country cupboard or among other small framed treasures.
The paper shows toning and scattered spotting, with light wear to the frame. Please review the photographs for condition details.
